In a move that is surprising to noone, KDE4 has been delayed until mid-January. The betas felt like alpha releases, and the RC feels like a late alpha, so this really should not be a surprise to anyone.

KDE Raptor is a slick new application launcher for the Linux desktop. Judging by these initial screenshots, they really have the look right! I look forward to seeing some KDE 4 desktops with this functionality.

I tried the KDE 4 Beta 2 Live CD, but sadly it did not work. The live cd failed to boot as after loading the kernel it claimed that it did not detect the CD-ROM drive.I will try again on the next live cd, I suppose.I've really been wanting to experience the wow. I guess that will have to wait. Sigh.
