Just over two months after the launch of its official release based on GNOME, is announced and the launch of the Community edition with KDE 4.3.4 desktop Linux Mint 8 "Helena."

Linux Mint KDE Community Edition 8 is based on Kubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" Kernel and 02/06/1931, but makes its own innovations , such as:
Installation for OEMs.
Improvements in Software Manager and Update Manager.
Repositories for community issues.
New default software selection: Minitube, Tucan Manager, Google Widgets, Songbird, Guarddog and Wine.

This new version is available only on LiveDVD format and requires at least 4 GB of hard disk space and 256MB of RAM.
