Linux Foundation, non-profit organization that supports the development of operating systems GNU / Linux, announced for September of next year, the event LinuxCon.
This meeting to be held in Portland, wants to be (and become) an annual conference, to 360 degrees, about the world of Linux and open source.
Completely open to the public and strictly managed by non-commercial reality, the event will host previews technology, technical sessions, meetings, debates etc ...
Linux is leading education in China
Apparently China is not only a leader in the field of Olympic sports, because it is also true in the use of Linux as a tool for education.
Since 2005 the Chinese government has given strong support to communities of free software developers, with the result that some 100,000 young people are forming annually.
